We exclusively use FedEx service.

Do You Offer Next Day Delivery?

We do not offer next day delivery at this time. Logistics wise it is just not possible.

How much is shipping?

FedEx service is free.

How Long Does It Take To Process and Deliver Orders?

On average it takes 🗓 1-2 business days to process an order. Once an order is processed transit time can take up to 6-10 business days. Actual number of days may vary based on origin, destination, and customs delays. Orders are not processed or delivered during weekends and holidays.

Do You Have A Retail Store And Do You Offer Local Pick Up?

We do not have a retail store. At Silicon Nerd we deeply care about keeping the prices as low as possible, and delivering products as fast and efficiently as possible. While we do understand that some customers would prefer to pick up their orders locally, this would considerably add to the overall cost of products, and logistics wise it would be extremely inefficient.

Please note that we have no control over customs, hence you may be charged import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees depending on your country of residence. We do not include these in our pricing and are not able to pay them on your behalf.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

Credit and Debit Cards → We accept the following cards: MasterCard/Eurocard, Visa/Delta/Electron, Discover, American Express, and Maestro. Silicon Nerd can only ship your order to the billing address you have on file with your bank or your card company.

PayPal → If you have a PayPal account, please make sure your shipping address is confirmed by PayPal.

Bank Transfer → If you would like Silicon Nerd to ship to an address that is different than your Credit/Debit Card billing address, or your shipping address is not confirmed by PayPal, please use Bank Transfer payment method. We accept international bank transfers, BACS, CHAPS and Faster Payments.

Is Shopping On-Line Safe?

Shopping on-line is not any more or less secure than shopping at a physical store. In either case, your purchase is always 100% protected by your financial institution, be it your credit card company or bank. In case of non-delivery of your order, you will get 100% of your money back. Silicon Nerd strictly uses the most secure payment methods that fully protect both the seller and the buyer.

Where Can I View My Order?

From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit your password and account details.

How Do I Cancel An Order?

If your order has not been processed, entered shipping depot or shipped, you can easily cancel your order by simply contacting us. If it has already been processed and shipped, please see Non-Defective Product Returns section for information on how to return the product once you received it.

Where Can I Get Order Invoice?

As soon as you place an order you will receive order confirmation and receipt by email. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an invoice for your order by email as well. If you have misplaced or accidentally deleted the invoice, you can print a copy of your invoice from your account dashboard.

What about AC Adapter, plug and keyboard layout?

All models we sell are supplied with proper local power adapters, cables and plugs that comply with voltage requirements and outlets in your country of residence.

⌨️  Keyboard Layout → International English QWERTY

All other models we sell come with International English QWERTY keyboards as shown in product photo gallery or under product description. In Windows 10 you can also add a keyboard layout for your region and language. Notebooks with a touchscreen also support on-screen virtual keyboards (much like tablets and smartphones) that can be fully configured for your region and language as well.

How do I add a keyboard layout in Windows 10?

1. Click on Start Menu in the left bottom corner of the screen.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Click on Time & language.
4. Click on Region & language.
5. Click on the language you wish to add a keyboard layout to.
6. Click on Options.
7. Click on Add a keyboard.
8. Click on the keyboard you want to add.

How do I change the keyboard layout in Windows 10?

1. Press and hold the Windows key.
2. Press spacebar. If you press spacebar multiple times you will toggle through the list of keyboard layouts you have. The layout you currently have selected will always be highlighted.
